Semántica hints of a new video series in the works

One of the best resources on the web for learning Portuguese is Semántica, a Rio-based group of producers who have put together two wonderful video series that I’ve reviewed extensively on this site.

I didn’t notice this until now, but back in August, Semántica posted a sneak preview of their upcoming video series, which they’re calling “Semántica Intensivo”. Jim Hall mentioned to me last year that he had something big in the works, and from the previews it looks like it’s going to be above and beyond anything they’ve done so far. More teaching moments, more Carioca actors, more great footage from all over Rio.

When the finished product is released later this year, you can bet I’ll be writing a full review.

  1. James Hall says:

Sure Lauren, we’ll be sending it over for you to see — the shooting has just ended and it’s in edit now. With 106 scenes this will take some time but hopefully we should have something for you to look at in the new year. ~Jim
